Dark Tranquillity - Anders Iwers Now Full Time Member

Bassist Anders Iwers (known from his work with Tiamat, Avatarium and Ceremonial Oath) has officially joined Dark Tranquillity as a full time band member after spending quite time playing bass on live shows with the band. The announcement was made recently. Daniel Antonsson had been the previous full-time bassist of the Swedish group.

On November 4th, 2016, Dark Tranquillity will release their 11th album Atoma worldwide through Century Media Records and start their North American headline tour. Dark Tranquillity - Share New Album Title, Cover And More

The follow-up to Construct will drop on November 4th, 2016 through Century Media Records. It's called Atoma and the Swedish metallers are currently recording it. Dark Tranquillity - Guitarist Martin Henriksson Quits

Gothenburg sons Dark Tranquillity are facing a major line-up change. They just lost their founding member Martin Henriksson. From 1989 to 1998, he played bass in the band and then switched to guitar. The charismatic guitarist amicably left the band a couple of months ago after he lost the passion for playing music. The band is currently putting the finishing touches on the material for their next album.

Dark Tranquillity's latest album Construct came out two years ago. While fans might be eager for a new album, for now the Gothenburg metal kings have released a new video. Dark Tranquillity - Confirm N. American Tour With Insomnium

The Swedes Dark Tranquillity have toured with Insomnium before and now they are doing it again. This time, both bands are joining forces for a North American tour to happen at the beginning of next year. The last album the band released was Construct in 2013. Dark Tranquillity - To Release New Single

There is more Dark Tranquillity music coming your way. The band is kicking off their North American tour in a couple weeks where they will be selling a 7" single called A Memory Construct exclusively on the road. The single will be available digitally on March 3rd in Europe. Recorded during the Construct sessions, it contains two songs, it is limited to 500 copies worldwide and is available on a transparent red wax. Featured tracks are "A Memory Construct" and "Sorrows Architect", previously only available as a limited flexi 7" released with issue #106 of Decibel magazine.

Dark Tranquillity - Announce Latin American Tour Dates

Swedes Dark Tranquillity, who are this evening starting their massive world tour (in support of their latest album Construct), have today announced another set of tour dates, this time for Latin America. The 5-date tour is scheduled in January next year, just before the band will begin their march across the North American fields.

Dark Tranquillity - Special Guest Announced For Select Shows

Dark Tranquillity's European Construct Tour starts next month and the band has revealed a special guest for selected dates on the tour. Some of the group's old classics will be performed with none other than Tristania's singer Mariangela "Mary" Demurtas on female vocals. So, Tristania will be supporting DT and Mariangela Demurtas will have a double duty.

Dark Tranquillity - Touring Australia In 2014

Dark Tranquillity will be returning to Australia next March for a tour, it will be their first time back since 2006. The Swedes are currently promoting their latest release Construct which is now available through Century Media Records. Dark Tranquillity will be supported nationally by Orpheus Omega and will also be joined by Be'lakor for the Sydney and Brisbane shows.
